    The 3rd Letter of John

    3rd John 1:1 The aged one to Gaius the beloved, whom I am loving in reality.

    3rd John 1:2 Beloved, I pray as touching everything that you may prosper in the way and be healthy, just as your soul prospers.

    3rd John 1:3 Therefore I rejoiced exceedingly in the brothers coming and having witnessed the reality that is in you, just as you are walking in the reality.

    3rd John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the reality.

    3rd John 1:5 Beloved, you are doing faithfully which you are laboring into the brothers, and into newcomers;

    3rd John 1:6 who have given witness of your love before the Assembly: whom if you send them forward in the peace of God, you will do well:

    3rd John 1:7 because that for His name they went out, taking nothing from the nations.

    3rd John 1:8 Therefore we ought to receive such, that we might be fellow workers to the reality.

    3rd John 1:9 I wrote to the Assembly: but Diotrephes, who loves to be chief among them, does not receive us.

    3rd John 1:10 Therefore, if I come, I will remember his actions which he does, talking nonsense against us with malicious words: and not satisfied with that, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and forbids them that would, and drives them out of the Assembly.

    3rd John 1:11 Beloved, do not copy that which is evil, but that which is good. He that is doing good is out from God: but he that is doing evil has not seen God.

    3rd John 1:12 Demetrius bears witness with everyone, and with the reality itself: yes, and we also bear witness; and you know that our testimony is real.

    3rd John 1:13 I had many things to write, but I will not with pen and paper write to you:

    3rd John 1:14 but I am hoping to see you without delay, and we will be talking in person. Peace to you. Our friends are greeting you. Greet the friends according to name.
